Frequently asked questions
● Can we bring children?
Yes, yes, yes – we love them! There's a
whole heap of events specifically for
young 'uns so take a look at the
Diary
of Events and book your accommodation
now.
● Should we book accommodation now?
Yes, yes, yes – it's the start of Half
Term, so it'll be chock-ablock in
Dartmouth over the Festival weekend.
Visit our
accommodation page
for where to stay.
● What's the parking like?
Pretty good – early birds "might" be able
to get into the main car park off the
embankment. Late-comers should head for
the Park & Ride on the outskirts of
Dartmouth (you can't miss it as you
drive in) and take the bus into town.
Alternatively, if you're staying in one
of the surrounding villages, then catch
a bus into Dartmouth (click
here for info) and enjoy the
fine food and wine on offer.

Directions
It's easy to find the Dartmouth Food
Festival – just follow the smell of
aromatic herbs and spices, succulent
meat being barbecued and fresh
vegetables... aaaah.
Seriously, Dartmouth really is easy to
find – take the A38 from Exeter or
Plymouth (dependant on where you're
coming from), and turn off at
Buckfastleigh. From there on in, it's
clearly signposted. For those of you who
like detailed instructions (and we don't
want to cause any in-car arguments
before you arrive),
