Introduction
I am a Foremost performance Academy
member, an innovative educational
initiative focussed on delivering a
variety of golf specific courses
designed to assist me in expanding your
knowledge of your own golf game.
"Performance Analysis" is a process that
creates a valid and reliable record of
performance by means of systematic
observations and analysis with a view to
facilitating game improvement.
I believe that both Teaching and Custom
Fitting are inextricably linked when
assessing performance. As a result the
academy will endeavour to educate
students on the importance of uniting
both of these unique services one
umberella.

My Philosophy and what I
can do for you
I believe in keeping things simple and
whether you are just starting to play
the game or are a more advanced player,
I will enjoy working with you. Building
on your natural ability, I aim to help
you gain a better understanding of your
game, including your strengths and
weaknesses, to maximise your skills to
help you play to your full potential and
gain the most enjoyment from your game.

About me
I am Paul Jordan, Assistant Professional
at Bigbury Golf Club situated on the
beautiful South Devon Coast, close to
Burgh Island and Bantham Beach, in an
Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
I play in the West Region PGA events all
over the South West.
I am currently studying for my
Foundation Degree in Professional Golf,
having been involved in the sport for
about 20 years.
I received my first lesson, aged about
8, at Clevedon Golf Club where my
grandfather was a member for many years.
I played for Somerset County Juniors,
Colts and Seniors and also for Somerset
Schools’ team and by the time I was 14 I
knew that pursuing a career in golf was
what I wanted to do.
After leaving school I attended
Cannington College to study Sports
Science (Golf Studies), a subject I
enjoyed very much, and in my final year
I won the student championship.
I turned Professional in 2004 whilst
Assistant Professional at Dartmouth Golf
and Country Club and had some good
finishes in Regional Pro Ams and
Strokeplay events.

Juniors and Beginners
Whilst at Dartmouth I started teaching
Juniors and Beginners and discovered
that this is an aspect that I especially
enjoy. I spent time coaching in London
before moving back to the South West,
where I am currently personally involved
in Bigbury’s Junior Section as Junior
Golf Coach and Mentor.
At Bigbury Golf Club we are a part of
the Young Masters’ Golf Training
Programme (YMG); sessions take place on
Saturdays both in the morning and the
afternoon.
Fees
£100 for a group of six lessons
including a playing lesson. Video
coaching available £25 per 45 minutes.
Individual 1/2 hour lesson £20. 9
hole playing lesson £40

play it, it's recreation. If you work at
it, it's golf. Bob
