1. Burns
Night at the Castle

Haggis was eaten (very top picture), whiskey was drunk, games
were played, and once again everyone had a great evening in the
Royal Castle Hotel. The bars were expertly decorated in
Scottish style. For the Dartmouth dot TV crew
Cock-a-leekie Soup, Haggis and Scottish Salmon were served, together
with a glass or two of wine and
Hoegaarden or three making a great Burns
experience.
2.
Who wants to be a millionaire?
Just to confirm, the house featured last week was not Nigel
Way's, his would have been much more expensive! Expecting
a flood of properties this week, we were surprised to only
receive one, and here it is!

Julie Hill from
The Coastal House
reports: Dolphin House is an
attractive, 3 bedroom period residence set in an absolutely
stunning location with commanding views over Dartmouth Harbour
and to the river from both the principal rooms and two of the
bedrooms. The property has been refurbished to a high standard
resulting in a light and spacious home.
The living accommodation arranged over three floors consists of
impressive drawing and sitting rooms on the first floor which
are both beautifully light and generously proportioned, sharing
extravagant river views from
large sash windows. With the addition of the integral garage
parking and private courtyard & terrace this is a rare
opportunity to acquire a period residence with good access to
Dartmouth's many attractions and outstanding harbour and river
views. Guide Price £ 800/£ 850,000

3. Jazz
at Wildfire every Friday night

James and Mick from Sax Appeal, a cold beer, a fine wine or two,
some good friends, a warm fire; does life get any
better? not for us on a winter Friday evening at
the
Wildfire bar & bistro.
Every Friday night during February from 8:30PM.
4.
Memories of Dartmouth

Taken around 1903 this shows the boatfloat walls as white
washed, do they look better, or not?
5. Winter
in Dartmouth II

What do these four pictures
have in common? They were all taken in January, this
Saturday it was over 12° and no wind, not quite shirt sleeve
weather, but definitely not cold. It's a very inexpensive
time to come and have a relaxing and rejuvenating break. For
