1. Messing
about on the river

Did you know for the price of a
family meal out, you can hire a boat and explore the river for a
lazy afternoon? The river is renowned for its beauty and
is very safe and accessible. A self drive boat is simple
and easy, no licence or qualifications needed and with a 7mph
speed limit it's a real pleasure. After you get past
Dittisham you will find the river almost empty.
You can beach in many locations, lie
in the sun and sip chilled Chardonnay and crunch on cucumber
sandwiches, or simply get a packed lunch from M&S!! If you
are staying a week you really owe it to yourself to be part of
the river, or just come down for the weekend, visit our unique
shops on Saturday and take to the river on Sunday? If you
want to find out more about boating and other activities

Why not come down for the weekend? The sun
is hot, the beer is warm, and the lager ice cold! For self catering

Science fiction
in Dartmouth?
Amid rumours of the remake of
the 1952 classic film "They Came To Earth" and "Batman Episode
One"
(the prequel), two strange objects appeared in Dartmouth last
week. Jules Verne was unavailable for comment!

4. Regatta is coming!

And how! Fireworks on Thursday, Red Arrows on Friday and
more fireworks on Saturday. There is still accommodation
available so book now?

Regatta

If ever there was a
quintessential waterside village fête, this was it! This
laid back event was so cool it was nearly frozen solid.
Classic cars, bacon butties, rowing, and a prize for 'the dog
with the waggiest tail'; does live get any better?
Be there next year?
