1. Fatstock Show
has a smashing start!

Those that were there will
understand our story title! It rained hard but did not
stop the farmers around Dartmouth coming to show their
animals, and fine specimens they were too! |

The Hangover this evening (Thursday)
It's party time at The Guildhall on Thursday 10th
December.
Escape the rain and gloom and join us for some festive fun,
sumptuous nibbles, mulled wine, mince pies and a film to
make you laugh. Our film is The Hangover- two days before
his wedding, Doug and his three friends drive to Las Vegas
for a blow-out stag party they'll never forget. But, in
fact, when the three groomsmen wake up the next morning,
they can't remember a thing. For some reason, they
find a tiger in the bathroom and a six-month-old baby in the
closet of their suite at Caesars Palace. The one thing they
can't find is Doug. With no clue as to what transpired and
little time to spare, the trio must retrace their hazy steps
and all their bad decisions in order to figure out where
things went wrong and hopefully get Doug back to L.A. in
time to walk down the aisle.
Sounds like a normal Sunday morning in Dartmouth to me!
One of the funniest films of the year - don't miss it!
Our door open at 7.15 - the film to be shown at 8pm approx.
Guest tickets are available from The Windjammer from 6.45 -
7.10 - price £5.00 to include party food. |

Christmas Wines @ Browns
James Brown reports: We've
been thinking about some lovely wines that would really suit
the big Christmas and New Year meals, all those parties,
visiting friends and even wine as a present! Why not
drop by to Browns and talk to James, Christof or Robin over
a coffee and let us talk you through what we think you
should be drinking! Remember, if you have a Browns card you
only pay the case bottle price even if you only buy one
bottle. All the prices quoted in this newsletter are our
case bottle price. It's party season so what about a
nice fizz. Phillippe Herard make lovely champagne but their
cheaper Blanc de Blancs is a cracker. A method champagne
wine it is crisp, with good balance and rich flavours. Our
price is £7.50 per bottle.
Our new house white from Spain is a delicious easy to drink,
classic Viura. A perfect aperitif wine and at £5.45, great
value. Our final recommendation is now our most popular wine
on the bar. Col de L'Orb is from the sunny Languedoc and is
smooth and quaffable. At £6.65 a little more expensive but
it's worth it! Drop into Browns Hotel and have a look? |

Plasma for sale. We
don't carry adverts, however this belongs to the MD of
Dartmouth dot TV, so I suppose we have to indulge him?
The is a professional HD Ready 42" plasma from Hitachi.

It has a fan to allow 24 hours usage in a shop or hotel
connected to a computer. Dave only used it only
for his home theatre system. It is an out and out
"monitor class" Plasma and would need to be plugged into
a Freeview box to receive TV ( £17 in Sainsbury's? )
It comes with a remote and the manual and is £200
to the first person who asks! Call 01803 833366.
Oh, no faults, no dead pixels.
