Following on from last Thursday, Regatta just got better and better!  The sun came out and without the huge crowds of recent years, we all had a very good time indeed!   On Saturday as our last photo shows, the Silver Oar was passed back to the Mayor.  What a week.........  If you want to see the entire collection of photographs in one place then click here, you know you want to!

  • James from Browns reports: Do you think that all Australian white wines are heavy, oaked and dull? Do you drink Sauvignon Blanc because you overdosed on 90's Aussy chardonnay? Well think again, our Vasse Felix wines are sharp, crisp and busting with fruit with great balance.

Vasse Felix were the first wine makers in the Margaret River region of Western Australia, and their wines represent some of the best examples in the region. The climate of Margaret River is much influenced by it's coastal position which facilitates the creation of fresh citrus flavoured and modern tasting wines. These wines are on offer at Browns at £9.99 when you buy two bottles. Their normal price is £12.50 per bottle. They are also available by the glass at the bar, try a glass?
