Last week saw Dartmouth Artist Paul
Barclay hand over three specially commissioned Illustrations at
the Britannia Royal Naval College one being of the new type
Queen Elizabeth class Aircraft Carrier. Paul was also
asked to design the cover for the passing out parade in December

Bach To Boogie,
Beethoven To Brubeck ... Chill Out With Lunchtime
Treats At The Flavel! A treat for the ears - and also
the taste buds - is promised at The Flavel.
The first concert is at 1.15pm on Thursday January 12,
and showcases the talents of two young South Hams
pianists, Angus Hadow and Alex Roberts, both prize
winners in the 2011 Torbay Music Festival. The boys are
in year 10 at King Edward VI Community College, Totnes
where they take part in a wide range of musical
activities. With a programme covering works from Bach to
Boogie, Beethoven to Brubeck, there will be something to
appeal to all musical tastes. Further performances are
scheduled for February 11, March 8 and April 12 all
taking place at the same time so watch this space for
