Chamber of Trade - MCTi

Saturday 24 June and Sunday 25 June
from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This weekend
!
For the third year running we have 40 or more working artists
along Bayards Cove and in the Royal Avenue Gardens showing their
talents and raising funds for the only Children's Hospice in the
South West where families with one or more terminally ill
children can have periods of respite and the love and care which
is so necessary to enable them to continue caring in their own
home.
Not a lot recently ?
Even Phil from the Dartmouth Chronicle was advertising in the
paper for news ! Dartmouth dot TV with its 400+ readers

A fantastic time was had
by all at this wonderful social gathering. Many thanks to
Tim Harris, Commodore BRNC!
4.
Castle Cove is Open !!

After many years of being closed, the cove is open
once again. Many locals including Town Mayor Iris
Pritchard remember being taught to swim
there.
At its monthly meeting on the 13th June, the Chamber of
Trade voted by a large majority to work with the
Dartmouth & District MCTi and the Town Council.
John Whitby and Dave Cawley met recently with Tom Maughan with a view to engaging a "Dart Business
Development Coordinator". There is government
money out there, if we don't apply for it, someone else
will !
