Upper Ferry Claims another victim !

Once again a holiday maker
underestimated the wash of the ferry and lost his boat trailer,
luckily Dart Harbour were there in a flash and found it on the
bottom of the river bed, well done chaps !

This
news was reported by the deputy head of the Baltic Naval
Institute Vladimir Rudnik. According to him, 300 cadets of the
institute and pupils of the Cadet Boarding School will have
their probation period on board the ship. The ship started its
training cruise in the Atlantic Ocean in June. During several
weeks at sea the cadets will train in navigation and study the
fundamentals of other special and sea disciplines. According to
Vladimir Rudnik, the ship will call at Dartmouth for
several days. Kaliningrad cadets will visit English seamen,
including cadets of the Naval Academy. The commander will be the
head of the Baltic Naval Institute, Rear-Admiral Dmitry Komkov.

After the first opening, another one followed the
next day featuring MP Antony Steen, the poet Kevin
Pyne and artist Simon Drew (& Rabbit). Champagne and
barbequed hot dogs followed a great ceremony !
