Wildfire has a new and
interesting Winter menu which can be found

surprised who you see having a quiet drink next to the
river?
4. Older people make more bread

Recently members of the Dart Valley U3A donned their aprons
and set about making wholesome, homemade bread with David
Jones at the Manna from Devon Cookery School in Kingswear.
Although the day had been planned as a standard teaching
day, it turned out that because those attending either
regularly cooked bread or had some experience, the day
became a technique and recipe swapping session. 'Everyone
learned from each other', explains David, 'including myself,
and everyone left inspired to bake more' More details
available at
www.mannafromdevon.com
. David adds, remember that if you and a group
of friends want to organise a private workshop we can do
that for almost any topic you would like.
