What can we say? well some say it's the best Regatta in the World and we would agree with them! 2011 started with the opening ceremony start and the firing of a maroon, the Proclamation read by Deputy Mayor, Dave Cawley followed by Town Mayor Paul Allen handing over the Silver Oar to Regatta Chairman Hilary Bastone. On Saturday as our last photo shows, the Silver Oar was passed back to the Mayor. What a week.........
