There is
a lot of "snake oil" out there (look it up on Google).
Cable should seamlessly and transparently transmit the sound,
without adding or subtracting from it in any way. Any
cable that purports to be difficult, different or sensitive,
very probably is. We understand cable, we are engineers,
and we know what sounds right.
If you buy the
right cables the first time, it will save you money in the long
run, take a long deep breath and just go for it.

Interconnects transfer information from a source such as a CD
Player or Turntable to the preamplifier. They must have
low inductance, minimal capacitance, good linearity, good
frequency response and must not suffer from any form of
microphony.
Thin sliver plated wire has its place in Microwave engineering
but can suffer from microphony and can be highly capacitive.

Loudspeaker
Cables
The Usher R-1.5 will source 80 amps of current, not many cables
can handle this. Loudspeaker cables are notionally better
if they are big, but copper is very expensive.
Loudspeakers often exhibit low impedances and heavy low loss
cable is important to get the power from the amplifier. We
must never forget that loudspeakers will generate significant
"back emf" and this should be minimised, again heavy cable
achieves this. When using thin and "special" cable, the
amplifier cannot properly "couple" with the loudspeakers
and this will give a characteristic sound. The cable sounds
differently but this is not good, as we said above "the cable
should seamlessly and transparently transmit the sound, without
adding or subtracting from it in any way".

520 loudspeaker. Bi Wiring stops the back E.M.F. from

in that they have separate crossovers for both the Bass and
