How to find us ›

The best route from the M5 is to take the A38 towards Plymouth, turning left on the A384 for Totnes. As you approach Totnes, turn right at the traffic lights on the A381 signposted Dartmouth and Salcombe. Shortly after the small village of Halwell, take a sharp left turn by a garage on to the A3122 signposted Dartmouth.

On entering Dartmouth, follow the route marked in yellow on the map above. Go straight ahead at the roundabout by the Park & Ride car park and straight ahead again at the mini roundabout 0.4 miles later. After the mini-roundabout, Townstal Pathfields is the first turn on the right. Take it and turn right where the road bends sharply,  Melverley House is then the second house on the left.

If you enter Dartmouth by the Higher Car Ferry from the other side of the River Dart, you turn left along the embankment as you leave the ferry. Your route is marked on the map in brown. Take the first turn on the right (after Coronation Park) and then follow the road round to the left up College Way. Approaching the top of the hill you pass Townstal Road and Church Road on your left; the next turning is Townstal Pathfields which you enter and follow directions as above.
